As of today, we´ve included a "who´s online" on your login page so you can see who´s around and who is not. You can of course choose to opt out by deactivating your "who´s online" setting in your profile section. Go to "edit profile" and you´ll find the appropriate checkbox at the bottom.
"Who´s online" shows you 50 random bloggers in alphabetical order for now; this option is set as default. Next to it is "friends", and then "female" and "male".
Otherwise, we hope this feature serves you well and as always, we welcome your feedback. Maybe you have categories in mind which would be interesting to add ?

My one point would be the design doesn't seem to compliment the rest of the front page, it's quite a different style.
Other than that I think it's great, I have to admit my default on it will be which of my friends are online.
I like it. My own comment would be it would be better to have the default option as friends, rather than general.
Apologies I see that whatever option you pick is sticky. I wonder, for debate, whether having the females option might lead to them getting unwanted mail ? I know a few who have turned the online indicator off for this reason.
... which is why they will not appear in this listing. If you do not want to appear there, you simply uncheck the online option in your profile setting..
I find this option is good. But there should be one option for online friends also.we should be able to make frinds also through this option.
