    According to the BBC, more than half of the UK's internet users don't believe that they themselves are responsible for protecting their own personal information when online.

    The survey, devised by Get Safe Online in conjunction with the BBC News website, marks the start of an internet safety week to help raise awareness of online issues.

    The findings show that many people are unaware of simple security measures regarding wireless networks and the use of passwords.

    There's a feature on blog.co.uk that many of you might not be aware of. It's called moblogging. 'Moblog' is short for mobile blogging - blogging from your mobile phone. This means that you can send photos, videos and text to your blog from your mobile.

    There's a couple of things you need to do in order to get set up to moblog.

    Choose the blog to which you want to moblog. Go to 'Settings' and 'Mobile'. Here you'll need to enter a secret word to form your own special moblogging email address.

    It would be a good idea to add this email address to your mobile's phonebook for ease of access.

    Now you can select the privacy settings of your moblog posts, and define a few standard tags. Don't forget to hit save.

    When your take a photo or video that you want to moblog, simply send it to your special moblogging email address. It will then appear on your blog.

    Now there's only one thing left to do: go search for something to moblog!

    Slightly belated, but congratulations to all the winners in The Bloscars 2007. They all received a free Pro account, but this pales into insignificance compared with the bragging rights that they received.

    A big thank you to everyone who gave their time to make this such a great event. And a big thank you to everyone who voted. But the biggest thank you of all goes to all of you who blog, comment, or just read blog.co.uk every day - without you, we are nothing.
