We're currently in the later stages of a redesign of the.blog.co.uk. We hope that the new the.blog will result in more efficient communication of news and features from blog HQ to you, our valued bloggers, and naturally, better possibilites for all of you to communicate to us how you feel about our work.

We have decided that each post will be tagged with one of five tags, effictively splitting them into one of five categories. They are as follows:

New features
This will keep you informed on what's new with blog.co.uk.

The Blogosphere
Interesting news and articles from around the blogosphere.

Technical Information
This will tell you how to use the features on blog.co.uk, e.g. how to implement HTML, widgets, etc.

Other
Anything else that we feel is interesting.

However the final category is causing us some difficulty here at HQ. It will be a category to keep you informed about predicted downtimes, essential maintenance, etc. We can't agree on a name for this category, and so we would like to throw it open to the general blogging public.
