They're coming thick and fast at the moment. Another new feature will go online today, and you'll find it when you click on an individual post on any blog. At the top you'll see two handy links to the previous post and the next post, like this:

Then, scrolling down to below the commment box, you'll see a list of the ten most recent posts in that blog, which looks something like this:

And just one more thing: In the Design Wizard, you now have the option to show your last posts in your sidebar. Just drag and drop it in the usual way.

At the moment, these features are not online for blogs built with FreeHTML, which at the moment is only this blog and the help blogs. But for all of your blogs, it's there right now.
Feedback welcome, as always.

No - It's not happening for me!
Even after logging off and on again!
Just hang on a little more, it will be online very soon
(it is not right now, that's true).
Ooops - I've jumped the gun!
At least I do read your messages!
No prob and we're really happy you do!
All systems go! I've now got it!
good stuff.
do you have an idiots gude to blogging section. or in my case thick mans guide to blogs. i would like to know things like when you put a word in your post that links to a web page ...handy tips ..stuff like that..
Oh and i have noticed on loads of tags that some one has put
"graeme phillips was lloydy after all" whats that about ..any idea
Actually, we're working on something like a "handbook" for managing your blog.
You mean a hyperlink? When writing a new post, you simply mark the word, click on the little earth symbol and put in the URL of the web page you want to link to.
Someone tagged you with "graeme phillips was lloydy after all" but you can delete those tags if you want to; you click on "Profile", "Edit Profile" and scroll down until you see your user tags. You delete them by clicking on the red cross.
Ya see it easy eh.. mind you you may as well speak in russian as I have no idea what you mean...mark the word ...earth symbol ??? thanks for trying though...guess you cant teach an old dog....
We can offer english, german, french and spanish. Sorry, no russian!
where is the earth symbol???
In the writing post section, blue navigation bar, right next to the smiley.
Got it
last thing i promise can you do this when replying to other peoples blogs. i notice that people put in pictures etc in there reply
It is hard to show you here, since you need codes for that but these "codes" disable my reply. (The same happens, when i send these codes via email to you.)
Since I have already got a good working navigation system on my mardlingham blog, it would be nice to be able to switch OFF your new feature, as it conflicts with my customised one. Is this possible?
I shall be pleased to use it on my munzly blog, but, again on the poppycock blog it conflicts with my own system.
I think it would be a good idea to make sure that all these new features are made OPTIONAL from the beginning, rather than springing them on us as a surprise.
It's the SURPRISE factor that annoys people.
It will be possible in the future but for now it isn't.
the problem is, that its allready way too much that can be configured in our system ... thats not very intuitive, especially new users get lost in our options ... thats why we always have to reduce feature settings or find a clever new way for everything to be configured (thats what we are planning about blog/designs) furthermore the only possibility to actually deploy features and get feedback is to force every use it, though we know there are always some users who will not like it, it will still be the best way for us, and we can just say sorry if some of those features are annoying you specially
I'm not sure about this one, could we have an option somewhere to turn it off like Munzly suggested?
I like it - very useful for catching up on friends posts. Ta very much!
hi - i think the improvement is very helpful, thanks.
while i'm here, can you explain for me how i add widgets to the right sidebar please? (eg an amazon box or link) or one of the world map widgets showing where your visitors come from).
lots of people seem to do it but i'm not sure how.
thanks
You'll need to copy the relevant HTML for the widget. Then go to 'Blogs', hit the icon of the paintbrush, then click 'Edit'.
The design wizard pops up in a new window. Click on '2 Modules' and copy the HTML into 'Free HTML I' (or II). Then hit 'Save and Continue' and then just drag and drop the Free HTML module to where you would like it to appear on your blog. Don't forget to save!
hi - many thanks. i'll give it a try later.
kevin
