  Now to edit the tag, I look for Tag f...which brings up 'proverbial sayings'.. I cannot see a single "f" tag....
  Do I just have to give up?

    Did you use the tool? Its linked on your "My blog.co.uk" page, i really can't connect your comment to the tool, therefore i am a bit puzzled how we could help you.

  Thank you - tags duly amended.

  The mystery of the missing "poem" tags hasn't resolved itself though. The only posts with the tag "poem" are my most recent postings. The earlier 250 posts have "lost" the "poem" tag. I haven't deleted them and BCUK says they haven't deleted them.

  I have neither the time nor the inclination to re-track through over two years of posts to re-tag them.

  I think the "tool" that replaces invalid tags with valid ones should be someone in the office................

    Those tags ARE already deleted, its just a way to reimport them with a new name. If you do nothing, they will be gone completly in a week.
